Doctor Horrible, a Sing-a-long blog

By Gilgemesh • Apr 16th, 2008 • Category: Random

I came across an interesting link today.  Apparently Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy, Firefly, and various and sundry other items, has create a new project.

“Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” will star Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible, Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer, Felicia Day as Penny and a cast of dozens.”

Yeah, that would be Doogie/Barney, That guy who I originally thought was the guy that played Angel and now digs up bones, but is actually, as pointed out by Fade, Traylor Howard’s boyfriend in the classic “2 Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Shop” among other minor parts that Nek-ed lists below, and Some girl no one really knows, but she had a bit part in the last season of buffy and totally rocks in this Youtube series about gamers, called The Guild. Now, While a sing-a-long with these guys is good, that guild series on youtube could be even better.  Maybe because it exists already and the other doesn’t, but that’s just semantics, right?  I’ll post a review when I get to see it.

  1. first of all… i love that guild link… especially the baby sucking on a power strip… nice.

second… Nathan Fillion wasn’t Angel… and doesn’t dig up bones… he was the captain in the Firefly/Serenity series/movie (and incidentally was a Kate’s husband (on Lost) and was Alicia Silverstone’s boyfriend in Blast From the Past (i guess i just admitted i watched that movie))

and “C”… anyone know when Ringling Bros. is coming to town?

  2. Nathan Fillion, Nek-ed I’m ashamed of you, you forgot he was Traylor Howard’s boyfriend in the classic “2 Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Shop”.

  3. Ah, damn. Can’t keep all these guys straight, no pun intended. I am leaving it wrong in the post though. :)

  4. OK, I think that the Guild show may deserve it’s own post. It’s just hillarious.
