Heathen support for Earth Day
By Gilgemesh • Apr 22nd, 2008 • Category: Life StuffToday is Earth Day. In order to show an appropriate amount of support for this holiday I decided I would find a great cause to support. There are a lot of worthy causes out there. Greenpeace, Breast Cancer awareness, other cancer awareness, the little lemonade girl, and many others. There are also some more unusual ones I might have chosen:
- Adopt a native elder - yes, you too can now own on old Native American person.
- The Carnivore Preservation Trust - Fade, there is a charity for all animals that refuse to eat vegetables.
- The Marijuana Policy Project - Umm, no comment, Thanks.
- The Xprize foundation - Yeah, I’m not really sure what they do. Apparently they give out prizes to folks they like.
So, I was at a loss. Until I found this one. How could you possibly not want to support someone who wants to build a giant robot. He’s even documenting the whole thing on video. I suggest everyone go right over, and in true Earth Day fashion, give till it hurts. The world needs a giant robot. I don’t know why, but we need one. It just makes sense.
